Not only do we think outdoors is the safest place to do yoga, we know it’s the best! A scientific study showed people work harder (without really realizing it). Plus, you benefit from the fresh air and immune-boosting microbes of the surrounding flora. Sometimes we even get some cameo appearances by turkeys, trumpeter swans, and eagles.
Each class is a full menu of YogaHotDish from Asana (poses) to Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Savasana (final meditation). This is a class where attendance counts, but luckily, not much else. Bring a mat, water, towel, strap if you have one and your sense of humor. This is an all-levels, small group class which means you’ll receive individual coaching when needed.
What about rain (or snow)?
We do have a covered patio which should be fine in most circumstances. If we have high winds and sideway precipitation, prepare to go indoors but with doors opened on 3 sides of the building. Throw in a mask just incase. Of course, if you don’t feel safe in such an environment, you can make up the class at another outdoor time/location.
We’ll hold a similar class, same place on Saturdays 12:30 – 2 pm.
Some loaner mats, blocks, and ties to lend. Note this event is not at the HOA office on the map below; please request directions if you’re unsure.

April 1 – May 27, 9 Thursdays; $135.
Drop-in $20 (must RSVP), $10 “add-a-class” if enrolled in another time/location, including Zoom. Students are always welcome to drop-in for $10 (RSVP appreciated).
You may substitute or add-a-class ($10) from Arden Hills City Hall (THURS 6 pm) Cummings Park (TUES Noon), North Oaks Golf Club (MON 10 AM) and Zooms.
