Over 40 and STILL not doing yoga?  Surely you’ve heard of the myriad of benefits by now.  Maybe you had a bad start: too crowded, too difficult, too “woo-woo.”  Or, maybe you ended up in a Senior Sneaker class and didn’t get enough of a work-out.  This class is nothing like those!

So, what’s you’re longevity strategy?  You probably have a retirement strategy, but what are you going to do to ensure you overall wellness.  Wellness and fitness are NOT the same thing; certain workouts can be downright dangerous for certain bodies.

Becoming a committed  “regular” in this class could be your ticket to longevity and quality of life.  Did you know exercising outdoors in a wooded area boosts your immune system and your mood?   Students are socially distanced from 6-12 feet. Sessions run monthly throughout the Summer and into Fall. Limited drop-in space available, $20, but RSVP’s a must due to Covid-19 restrictions to ensure proper social distancing. Classes are usually at or near capacity so get in touch and reserve your spot w/ payment (cash, check, Zelle or VENMO) today!

SEPT 10- 24th, 3 Thursdays, $45

OCT 1- 29th, 5 Thursdays, (12:30 start) $75 ~ we’ll be using propane and infrared heaters to keep the outdoor classes running as late into the season as possible!

In addition to all the great mind/body/brain/balance/breathing benefits of yoga,  did you know exercising outdoors in a wooded area boosts your immune system and your mood?  That’s why this indoor/outdoor hybrid model is perfect during COVID.  Students will be distanced 6-12′ feet with part of the class performed on the patio (no masks required), and part indoors w/ doors somewhat ajar, MASKS ON inside!

OCT 1- 29th, 5 Thursdays, (12:30 start) $75

NOV 5 -19, 3 Thursdays (12:30 start) $45

Standard drop-in $20

Students (middle-grad school) $10

Add a class (enrolled HotDishers only) $10

Winter Pack List: Mat, thick bath towel/blanket/extra mat,  blocks if you have them, strap or tie 6′ or longer, grippy gloves, hat, warm socks, water/tea/cocoa, and a MASK!

How do I take a class?  

  1. Fill out a contact form so we have your info and can keep you updated on weather and any venue issues.
  2. IF it’s close to class time, email Shailayoga{@}gmail.com to RSVP, get details and directions. Note: the map featured below is NOT the exact location so please inquire.
  3. Choose your payment option as listed above
  4. Refer to the pack list and show up –Bldg opens no more than 10 mins before class.
