For experienced students. You should be able to move from seated to standing poses with ease; however, your ability to maintain an ujjayi breath throughout your asana practice is key. Alternatively, a desire to explore pranayama and meditation can motivate fitness yoga students through the practice. Email instructor [email protected] with questions. Class Description: the most comprehensive yoga around, in the middle of an art gallery! This goes beyond Hatha / fitness yoga. Elevate up to Raja yoga and experience yoga as meditation-in-motion. You’ll learn advanced breathing techniques and savasana/yoga nidra, “the most difficult pose.” Sure, you can spend years chasing trickier yoga poses and alignment, or, you can recognize the physical part of yoga as the jumping-off point it is to higher mental states and self-discovery!
